Here is the problem with finding those firms. There is no trade code for EV charger installer. They file under electrical installation, the same code as every other electrician in the country.

That is true of every new trade. A job has to get big and settled before it earns its own code. So the fastest growing work is always hiding inside an older one.

So you need a second filter. The website. A firm that fits chargers says so on its front page, because it is their newest and best work.

Both trades sit inside construction, which opened 10.6 per cent of its businesses and closed 8.8. Steadier than its reputation, and 423,000 firms strong.
