Frequently Asked Questions
Everything we get asked about Leadistry: pricing, leads, refunds, GDPR compliance, data sourcing, recurring searches, and more. Can't find an answer? Get in touch.
How does pricing work?
You buy a monthly lead allowance. One lead means one delivered company record with the fields you requested (Companies House data is always included; verified website and named-personal email are included when found). Failed lookups and dissolved companies never count toward your allowance. Starter is £10/month for 50 leads, Growth £25 for 200, Pro £60 for 600, Scale £120 for 1,500. You see exactly what you're getting before any lead is charged.
Can I get a refund if a search fails?
Automatically. We charge per delivered lead, not per search. If a search fails partway, any unused leads return to your balance the same minute the job marks failed, no support ticket needed.
Is Leadistry GDPR and PECR compliant?
Yes. We process under Legitimate Interest (we follow the ICO's three-part LIA test, internally documented), honour data-removal requests at the SQL level within 24 hours, and keep both a director-suppression list and a company-suppression list. There's a public removal form at /remove-company so anyone can remove their company without signing up. Direct marketing to corporate subscribers is permitted under PECR without prior consent.
What data can I get for each UK company?
Each enriched lead can include up to 6 data points: company website, named-personal email address, Facebook page, Instagram profile, company LinkedIn page, and director or co-founder LinkedIn profile, on top of the Companies House basics like company name, number, SIC codes, registered address, incorporation date, and officers.
Where does the data come from?
Company information comes directly from the official Companies House register. Contact details are discovered from publicly published sources (company websites, public LinkedIn profiles). We never buy datasets.
How does the monthly lead allowance work?
Leadistry is a rolling monthly subscription. Each plan gives you a fresh lead allowance at the start of every billing cycle, and unused leads roll over and never expire while your subscription is active. If you need more in a given month, you can buy top-up leads at a flat 16p per lead (for example 25 leads for £4, 75 for £12, 200 for £32). If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the cycle end and you can use any remaining leads in that window.
What industries and locations can I target?
Any SIC code (all ~730 of them), UK region or postcode area, company type (Ltd, LLP, PLC, etc.), status (active, dormant, dissolved), and incorporation date range. You can also filter for niche signals like 'no website discoverable' or 'confirmation statement due in next 60 days'.
Can I automate my lead generation?
Yes, twice over. Save any search as a recurring job that runs daily, weekly, every two weeks, or monthly; per-user dedup means each run only returns companies you haven't seen before. And on Growth plans and above, Flows automates the whole journey: the recurring search feeds enrichment, verification, your email template, timed follow-ups and reply routing, all on one visual canvas you can draft with AI.
What are Flows and how do they work?
Flows is Leadistry's automation builder (Growth plan and above). Describe what you want in plain English, for example 'email new construction firms and chase after 3 days', and AI drafts the journey on a canvas: trigger, enrich, verify, send, wait, branch on replies. You adjust any step, pick your search and template, and flip one switch to turn it on. Nothing sends until you do, replies stop a lead's sequence instantly, and mailbox warm-up limits always apply. Flows can also send leads out to Zapier or any webhook and wait for the result to come back before continuing.
How does mailbox warm-up work, and can I change it?
New mailboxes start gently and automatically: 5 emails on day one, then 5 more per active sending day, up to your daily cap (default 30, adjustable). Raising the cap never bypasses warm-up, the ramp always applies underneath it. You can also set your sending hours and pause a mailbox any time. Our advice: connect your mailbox at least a week before a big campaign, keep the default ramp, and let replies accumulate, providers treat a mailbox that earns replies gently as trustworthy.
How do you keep my emails deliverable?
Several layers. Every address is verified before sending; suppression and do-not-contact lists are checked at enrolment and again at send time; sends go from your own mailbox (Google or Microsoft) inside your sending hours with warm-up pacing; every email carries a one-click unsubscribe; and a reply or unsubscribe stops that lead's sequence immediately. Opens and clicks are tracked with bot filtering, so your analytics reflect real humans rather than security scanners.
Can Leadistry talk to my other tools?
Yes. Every plan can push leads and replies out over webhook, Zapier or Slack. Flows goes further: a flow can post a lead to Zapier, pause, and resume automatically when your Zap calls back, with whatever data it returned attached to the lead for later steps. Leads can also be posted into a flow from outside via its private inbound webhook URL.
How are leads sorted and delivered?
Leads are sorted by how many fields we filled in. Fully detailed leads (every field requested) appear first, then leads with one field missing, then two, and so on. Companies where we couldn't find any extra detail are excluded entirely.
What happens to my lead data?
Your leads are saved as named datasets in your account. Return anytime to browse, search, filter, or export as CSV. Your data is private, we never share datasets between users, and we don't resell your search results.
