What sits in division 98
The official title of this division is about households making goods and services for their own use. On the UK register it does something else entirely. Companies House lists 98000 as residents property management. Flat management companies, right-to-manage companies and leaseholder-owned freehold companies all use it. These entities hold obligations. They do not trade. Most are dormant or close to it for accounts purposes. A registration here is really a placeholder that describes how a building is owned.
For lead generation, 98000 is mostly a code to exclude. These companies rarely buy anything, and their directors are volunteer leaseholders. There are exceptions worth knowing. Managing agents, block insurance brokers, accountants offering dormant company filings, and fire safety or maintenance contractors do reach decision makers this way.
